Precambrian Time
Precambrian Time Animal
The Precambrian time began 4.5 Billion years ago. The first period in Precambrian
time was Archean. In the beginning of the Precambrian time the earth was turning
from molten liquid into solid rock
Scientists think the first form of life was around 600 million ago, these
creatures are known as Ediacaran. In the Precambrian time the first living
organism were microscope bacteria, they appeared around 3.4 billion years ago.
As the population of the bacteria grew the chemical fuel that they were living
on started to disappearing so instead of living on chemical fuel they started to
rely on the power of the sun through a biochemical process called
photosynthesis. The environment in Precambrian time was mostly harden lava that
was forming into solid ground, oceans were beginning to form from water vapor in
the atmosphere. Many scientists think at the end of the precambrian time a
global ice age occurred, and many of the organisms that were living
died.
Scientists believe Precambrian time ended about 544 million years ago.
Scientists say there was a global ice age that killed off almost all of the
organisms. Precambrian time was the longest and the oldest geological period.
Precambrian Time is almost 90% of the entire age of the
planet.
